Practicing Moderation

Hello. I am Zobo to the sane world of high schoolers. My mom is a doctor and my dad works as well, so we're well off financially. Except for the fact that this recession is decreasing house sales all over the country and we have not managed to sell ours yet. Our family moved two years ago- go figure. Apparently, we are on super-supreme austerity. (as my dad calls it) Which means I can't buy anything on eBay. Anything. Bummer, what with all the stuff that goes on there that will never appear again. I'm a film memoribilia geek- collect movie posters and photos and all that. We've been going out to eat a lot in the past few weeks because I was in the school play and had to grab a quick bite before every rehearsal and the habit never quite got away from us. Also, there have been a lot of 'special occasions'; my sister has come home from college once and for all (until next year) and I have had numerous concerts to prepare for and get through. Dad finally went on strike yesterday by not going out to eat with us, saying that 'we were going out to eat too much,' according to my sister. Guess I can live with that- but I'll sure miss those Quiznos sandwiches.
